Who do you serve?
“You cannot drink from the cup of the Lord and from the cup of demons, too. You cannot eat at the Lord’s Table and at the table of demons, too.” 1 Corinthians 10:21 Today, as I had my quiet time with the Lord, I came across this verse and for some reason it stood out to me. Do we as Christian’s know that we are to live a life, 100% devoted to the Lord? We talk about it in the church and we might talk about it with our families and friends but do we live by it those words? Do we understand what Paul talks about in that verse? Or do we allow for our sinful nature to control us? In 1 Corinthians 5, Paul talks about removing wicked people from our lives. We are not to associate with anyone who claims to be a believer yet indulges sin in their lives. We often talk about others but forget to look at our own lives first. What if we are the wicked person in someone else’s life? The Bible truly teaches to not walk the way of the wicked (Psalm 1). We need to surround ourselves with people...
